Trade supply · Store fixtures

Store fixtures and shopfitting, manufactured in China.

Gondola and shelving components, cashwraps and service counters, display cases, slatwall and wall systems, garment racks, millwork and powder-coated metal. Built to your drawing, shipped under neutral packaging.

This page is written for the trade. If you are a fixture dealer, a shopfitter or a retail design firm, you are not looking for a sourcing lecture — you are looking for a second source you can put a date on.

Your customers stay yours. We quote to you, ship to you or wherever you tell us, and we do not approach the retailers or brands behind your projects. Neutral packaging and your own labelling are standard, not an extra. You see the factory’s original quotation and invoice; on this category we are paid out of the factory’s margin, not by you.
To get a number back, send:
  • a drawing, a cut list, or a photo of something close
  • the quantity, the finish, and any colour reference
  • the install date, and where it ships to
  • whether it has to match fixtures already on the floor

Who this is for

The item that falls outside the catalogue.

Standard gondola runs come from the big domestic presses and we are not trying to beat them on those. The work we take is the part they do not make.

Fixture dealers & distributors

You carry a shelving line for the standard runs. The custom cashwrap, the end panel in the retailer’s colour, the odd-size unit — that is where a second source earns its place.

Shopfitters & design-build

Every fit-out has an awkward middle: fifteen counters, forty brackets, a run of shelving in a colour nobody stocks. Too few for a container alone, too custom to buy locally.

Retail design firms

You specify it; someone has to build it to the drawing. We hold the spec through the sample rounds instead of quietly substituting a material to hit a price.

What we build

Metal, timber, glass and the finishes.

A fixture is rarely one process. A powder-coated frame, a laminated top, a glass panel and a lock set can come from four suppliers and have to arrive together and fit.

Powder-coated metal

Tube and sheet frames, uprights, brackets, hook bars, wire baskets and garment racks. Custom RAL or Pantone-matched finishes, with the sample signed off before the run.

Millwork & laminate

Cashwraps, service counters, back bars, plinths and perimeter wall systems in engineered timber and laminate, flat-packed with hardware and assembly marks.

Glass, acrylic & lighting

Display cases, tempered shelves, acrylic risers and headers, LED strips and drivers specified to the destination’s voltage and certification.

How the work runs

Drawing, sample, run, inspection, one shipment.

Nothing moves to the next stage until you have signed off the one before it. The point is that there are no surprises at the container.

Drawing review & sample

We read the drawing for the details that will not survive production, shipping or assembly on site, and say so before tooling. Then a sample, photographed from every angle.

Production & inspection

Production followed weekly against the schedule. Pre-shipment inspection to AQL with photos and video — including a trial assembly — before the balance is released.

Consolidated freight

Several items and several factories brought onto one shipment, knock-down packed to keep cubic volume down, carton markings and labelling to your spec.

Experience

Where this comes from.

Two years inside the supply chain for retail fixture and display programs in southern China, covering metal, millwork, acrylic, glass and powder coating — including the multi-material builds where several factories have to land on one date. Programs for brands including Twinings, Miele, LEGO and General Mills, and fit-out and fixture work for Australian retailers, ran through the team that work was part of.

We are based in Vancouver. For a buyer on the west coast of North America that means the same working day, not a reply the following morning: you brief in your office hours and the factory floor gets worked that same night.

FAQ

What trade buyers ask first.

Do you sell to our customers directly?

No. If you are a fixture dealer, shopfitter or design firm, your customers are yours. We quote to you, ship to you or to the address you give us, and we do not approach the retailers or brands behind your projects. Neutral packaging and your own labelling are standard, not an extra.

Can you work from our drawings?

Yes, and that is the normal case. Send a drawing, a cut list or even a photo of something close, with the quantity and the install date. If the drawing has a detail that will not survive production or shipping, we will say so before tooling rather than after.

What do you make that we cannot already buy here?

The items outside the catalogue: a cashwrap at a non-standard size, an end panel or gondola in the retailer’s own colour, a display case to a drawing, a run of brackets or shelf accessories too small to justify a container on its own. We consolidate several items onto one shipment so the economics work at those quantities.

Who pays the factory, and what do we see?

You see the factory’s original quotation and invoice. On display and fixture projects we are paid out of the factory’s margin, not by you — no sourcing fee and no retainer on this category. On products outside our factory network, where we have to find and verify a manufacturer, that search is a separate paid piece of work and we say so up front.

What about duty and the Canadian surtaxes on Chinese steel?

We quote the goods and the freight, and we flag where a line may fall under Canadian or US duty or surtax on Chinese steel and aluminium so your broker can confirm the rate before you commit. We are not customs brokers and we do not give you a landed number we cannot stand behind.

What quantities and lead times are realistic?

Metal and timber fixtures are viable from low quantities; tooling-dependent parts need more. A typical run is a sample round of two to three weeks, production of four to six weeks, then sea freight. We will tell you honestly if an install date cannot be met rather than take the order and miss it.

Get started

Send one item and see what comes back.

Pick something you are quoting now, or something you lost on price last time. A drawing or a photo with the quantity and the install date is enough. You’ll get a price, a lead time and an honest read on the date within one business day — at no charge for this category.
